I seriously can't get over how basic that song is. It sounds like an even worse version of Halo. Just so cheesy. She's not going to be able to break through with that kind of lame music.
Listen to the preview for Mariah's new song. It's really pretty, with an orchestra and everything. Light years ahead of anything Beyonce's doing. Beyonce can't withstand this kind of talent.

Sounds similar to the song she did for Epic, just a little less memorable.

It does remind me of that cheesy song she did for Epic. Which was a flop, of course. But at least that was for a kid's movie. This is her actual song on her album which makes it even worse. |

I swear music is just crap nowadays. How many times does she say "you're beautiful" someone tell her James Blunt or whatever already did it. Nowadays for the chorus one phrase or word is just repeated over and over again songs back in the day had more words and less of a "mind-numbing" feel. Corny, itsounds like shewrote it herself from what I can hear. Does not move me in anyway. Especially since all I hear is "I'm a hypocrite" if God made you and your mama and you siter so beautiful, then why did you all go and slice yourself six ways to sunday?
And last but not least Beyonce is, as usual, a day late and a dollar short. Gaga already did "born this way" Pink did "raise your glass" Chrisitina did "beautiful" (first, I might add). At least Gaga and Pink put their own spin on it. And here Beyonce comes 10 years after the fact and all she can say is "you're beautiful"? no originality whatsoever. |

When I hear Christina "Beautiful", it fills my heart because you can just hear it in her lyrics/singing that its very heartfelt, and something she believes....a message she's trying to send YOU. Whereas, as usual, everything that Beyonce does screams, "CONTRIVED"! |
