So I was thinking, I love coming to this site and peeking in seeing what's going on. When ever I hear some news or gossip it's always interesting to get you guys' take on it. The way I'm seeing things to tell the truth, Beyoncé is washed up as far as the music industry goes. The moves she's currently making are the moves of someone trying to hang on to something that's already let go of her. Also if we are to be honest she hasn't had a substantial hit in almost 10 years. She's had buzz and fizzles but in terms of success not really. She's done well in endorsements and some other endeavors but musically not so much. However!I feel like she's had a great run for a machine that's run itself primarily by hype. Even now the beehive really is a dwindling fan base they are just annoying more than anything else. Teaming up with Nicki manaj while it's cute and buzz worthy isn't really going to help her all that much because Nicki Manaj is struggling to stay in the game herself. So really they are both just sinking ships latching on to one another hoping to stay afloat. So eventually we are just going to start hearing these crazy stories about Beyoncé and people will and pretty much are becoming not so afraid ( if that's really even what it is) to cover for them or not expose what they know. As always I will be tuning to hear you guys' POVs as I'm sure some will be most entertaining. But, after all of that happens and the dust settles what's next...

I guess 2,000,000 copies sold means nothing anymore. People are worried about a hit single rather than an album selling millions and that now rare for a black female artist. Lol?

Lol? 2,000,000 is a 1/3 of what she used to sell. Hit singles sell albums. Black females have outsold her. Her sales are not rare.

The fans love holding onto that 2 million albums sold number when it should be obvious to everyone those numbers aren't real. Digital stats can be easily and cheaply manipulated, that's why the surprise digital deal her label set up was only with Itunes. They knew that album was a dud so the only way they could release it was with a bunch of hype, smoke and mirrors. They even had the fans thinking Beyonce was powerful enough to release THEIR music without the bosses at Columbia's approval. I'll admit it was a smart move on Columbia's part that got her some attention but she still didn't sell 2 million albums.

It wouldn't be the first time they've lied about sales e.g. Dangerously In Love sold 11 million for years, but the real figure was closer to 7. And why sell 2 million and nothing else after that? The album died within 2-3 months.
