I think the problem is Jay has drunk all of his own koolaid, he probably genuinely believes he is some business genius. And I can just see him going on the show to prove all of us wrong. to repair the damage that tidal did. He'll be on there showing all his stupidity and thinking he's actually doing something. Just watch him get on this show. Just watch.

It is not true....his name is not in the list possibles....There have been no such behind the scenes discussions.
It makes for interesting conversation though....
Jay Z had an opportunity to prove his Executive Skills in 2005 When he selected by LA RIED TO THE POSITION OF PRESIDENT OF DEF JAM.
LA REID.... was the CHAIRMAN of Island Def Jam " The Big Boss"
The position was promised to Jay if he cut ties with Damon Dash.
Two years later ....the Chairman of Def Jam Declined to renew Jays contract as President.( Terminated)
Jay was required to be on time....attend all strategy meetings, provide breifings, project cost, manage new artist proposals, and above all Increase Profits and the Standing in the Music World of Def Jams Brand and Artist.
During his tenure at Def Jam... Jay was uneffective ,Def Jam lost Market Share and He was involved in multiple alleged incidents of Inappropiate actions with female Artist....He was Often Missing from Meetings and Failed to provide a Concrete Business Strategy throughout his Entire Tenure....His tenure was one of Def Jams least Profitable according to the Board Members.
