One thing that was said was that, after being warned about frivolous spending, she'd just say, something to the effect of; "I'm in demand....I'll just do a magazine cover." And when I saw this, I just immediately thought about that article from the ex-accountants wife. I didn't know someone called it on RWS. I guess folk are no longer drinking that Beyttle-Juice. That September cover reveal has gotten no attention. It didn't even really trend on twitter. Compare the response to this reveal versus when Kim Kardashian's cover was revealed. When Kim got her first cover, it was all over the news for days and days, both online and television. Beyonce gets the most important issue of the year, September, and it barely makes a wave amongst the public. No one even cares. Which is why today she released an old unseen photo of Blue. She's at the point now where she can't compete with Kim Kardashian when it comes to getting attention.

Even the fleahive is treated like an inconvenience. That picture of Blue she Instagramed did not move me. All I could see was Jayz's younger twin. Poor baby. Had she been North looking baby we would have fed her on a daily. The eh problem is that she does not want others to shine. In life there is always going to be someone better. Her time is up. True icons bow out gracefully. The media that built her up is tired of her. They want fresh faces. Exciting people, with personalities. |

I was shocked to see it didn't get much attention because the news was all over the place when Halle got the September cover. Aren't celebrities supposed to do PR when they get such a so called prestigious cover? And what the hell is going on over at vogue, they have been scraping the bottom of the barrel for a few years now. It's sad that Beyonce feels she has to compete with a talentless big bootied slore such as Kim. A sane person at her level would be so far above such shenanigans, they wouldn't even acknowledge Kim even existed. |

Everyone thought that in that disturbing and very unecessary video that her head spent around, I know it didn't, but I totally believe that was what she wanted to make it look like with her lost a$$. Spot on, Guest. In all honestly she's no better. I don't care if she sings or not. She's also shown herself as a stripper, a bragger, money hungry, lying booty shaker. Kim was beautiful way before the sex tape got exposed. Let's face it...Kris Jenner's girls are beautiful. Where as Beyonce's real face looks a lot like her sister, Solange. Which isn't ugly but not close to the exotic looking Kardashians. Even cutie pie, baby North looks exotic. What people don't realize is that Kim came from real wealth and privilege. That sex video tape only increased the money she already had. I think stupid Ray Jay exposed that tape to try to hurt Kim, but luckily for Kim, it did quite the opposite, especially when her money making Mama got involved. People talk much shit about the Kardashians but for some strange reason somebody must like them because they're making major coins in the industry. What's so much better about Bey when she's made her fortune by lying and stealing? Me too, belladonna1983. Boredom is the perfect word that describes how I see her nowadays. That's why I disappeared from these boards for awhile. Although she may not admit it, her star shine and power has been taking a nose dive. And that goes for her husband, Jay, too. That's one of the reasons Tidal failed, because his star power and appeal isn't like it used to be. When at one point people supported them just because they were who they were. Those people were under the Carter's Spell. I just wonder what are they going to do now that those people are finally waking up. shanaelmsford, She insists on being half dressed and looking like a harlot. And Taylor Swift and her people are going in the total opposite direction of Beyonce in regard to fame. Taylor Swift's brand is that she's a pop star who happens to be a regular girl and she identifies with her fans. Beyonce's brand is that she is God in the flesh and the rest of the world are peasants who need to "bow down". That kind of brand won't be tolerated for long. Taylor is waaaay smarter than Beyonce. Of course, that's obvious. Most people are smarter than Beyonce. But as for Tidal, it's gonna throw a hammer in her next album. Because it's a lose/lose for her. If she releases her album on Tidal, it will flop because no one's on Tidal and no one is signing up for Tidal just to buy her album. Yet if she doesn't release it on Tidal, she's seen as turning her back on her and her husband's own company, admitting defeat and failure. It's a no win for her. |

Haven't been on this board for a while.
Honestly nothing Beyonce does recently is truly exciting or news worthy, I did not even know she made the September cover for vogue until I saw a post on a urban Belgium blog, lol.
Well she looks pretty on the cover, the pictures are nice but really not groundbreaking. She had made the same kind of pictures before. I also don't think she is as photogenic as Rihanna or even Kim K.
It's funny how she is everywhere yet none of her recent songs really took off in the charts. A recent article (I think it was the New York Times) pointed out that Beyoncé's new strategy is to be seen without being heard (no interviews) , and that she could do so because of her star power. I honestly think otherwise. Even though her stans would never admit it, she stays mum because her interviews are boring and struggles to express herself without a script. Plus, we live now in a era where fans to relate to their favourite celebrity or artist, celebs are not just products for entertainment but people that can be just like you and me. That's why the likes of Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Zendaya, Taylor Swift... are so popular, they project to the public an image of stars yes, but stars with flaws and emotions, unlike the artificial God-like I can't do it all type of artist that is Beyoncé. Even artists who used to distance themselves from the public now build a close bond with them, like Jlo. Talking about JLo, notice that she had, in recent years, some worldwide hits, unlike Bey who hasn't had any since 2008-2009.

NY Times says that despite her Vogue covers Beyseennotheard has never done a real interview. Are people actually surprised by this? She doesn't really come across as interesting or smart in her interviews so it's best to save herself from embarrassment. All those years of pushing the image of a "shy", "private" performer were really just a cover. |
