Pop culture or Beyonce? BOTH. Destiny's Rehab's (blog) subtitle is "Spilling the tea on America's Favorite Celebs", yet 90-95% of its posts were on Beyonce.

So my answer to you? Again, BOTH. But we all know what "both" means where concerns the blog and now this forum.

And I don't mean to tell y'all what to talk about. I'm sorry if that's how it came across. It's just I wonder if sometimes people get tired of talking about "her" so much. From the most mundane thing to the most scandalous. Don't answer. I will hush and fall back to lurker mode. It's yours. I won't interrupt you all ever again

I can't speak for anyone else but this is my view on things. The site is called destinys rehab which I always thought was because it was telling the truth and spilling tea on destinys child but I haven't been here since the beginning so I don't know. As for the subtitle who are Americas favorite celebs right now? Hmmm unfortunately beyonce and jayz(who I won't even go in on right now) because no matter what they do they're in the headlines and its ridiculous. I for one don't agree with everything that's said on here at all times but lately I just stay quiet on issues I disagree on because yes sometimes these post can become unnecessary but then again maybe not because everytime I go to one of my favorite blog sites there's something about her and its over kill. Rihanna, lady gaga, Katy perry, Bruno Mars are all big stars and don't get half as much press as beyonce who doesn't even have an album out. So yes it is very annoying. I'm pretty sure now you're saying well doesn't that means she's done well for herself if she gets all this press with only being on tour? Yes and no. Yes because the people around her have made her a brand so of course she has to be around at time but not as often as she is she's being thrown in or faces at all times whether were looking for her or not. I don't even know what her brand is because she will sell you anything but I digress. As a matter this summer my cousin who doesn't read blogs or gossip sites was complaining how sick of her she was because she never goes away so how is it not possible to always have this woman on the brain? I'm at work and they're playing her music, even though I admit that one day I did play her cd at work because while I am not fond of her I still like some of her music but I digress. So yeah I think I replied to everything you said if I didn't please let me know. Excuse any typos.

That would be possible,but the woman is always in our face. Trust, if she would sit her bootypads down and no one didn't worship her as if she was god, then we wouldnt have to discuss this trick, at all. Like stated before this is a place where we can get away from all the worship. Twitter, its Beyonce. Tumblr, its Beyonce, regular blogs that we may surf, she's there. For no damn reason when she doesn't have an album or shit going on. Yahoo, MSN, the radio, tv, shes there. So therefore she will get discussed. But since she's here all the damn time, why not discuss her? Are you on her payroll? Why are you so confused? Must be one of her slow stans she attract because its not that hard: This is a place to get away from all the worship that is Beyonce G Knowles. Even some of us were Bey fans and some of us actually do like her music!You do you, and we do us. It's simple. I understand where you're coming from but at the end of the day, you nor any Stan or Beyonce won't stop us. What's the difference from a Stan having a blog dedicated to Beyonce and her family...like really? Why continue to search a blog you are totally confused about? Might as well close your browser and forget about it.

I agree with you as far as answering pointless questions.  I'm just going to be honest and put this out there.  Like it or not, Beyonce is a big part of Pop culture today.  So she is talked about daily and for many different reasons.  Because she is constantly in our faces, this leaves room for scrutiny, adoration, judgements, praise and so on.  And as long as she continues down this path, the conversations between others won't stop. 

We have to look at it like this:  Beyonce is perfect for group discussions.  Everything from her hair, skin complexion, her marriage, her family, her husband, her money, her singing, her choice of clothing, her reactions, her non-reactions, her interviews, her heritage, her % of being black, her sexuality, her intellect, etc, etc, etc,... gives us all great discussions.  Most are even what I consider necessary because of what we see in her.  Beyonce's presence and her label as being "perfect", makes us curious and full of questions.  For ex., It is just human nature for some people to want to know why does this black woman wear blond wigs all the time?  Is she ashamed of being black?  Why did she bleach her skin?  Why is this "talented" woman scantily dressed for shows?  Is Jay using her?  Why didn't she give credit (stealing) to all those hard working people?  And these types of questions can go on forever.  Because everyone won't go along to get along and some people just take notice to things and want answers.  So if Beyonce isn't going to give any legit answers, then we talk amongst ourselves or with others to try to get to the bottom of things.

Let's face it!  Beyonce is a hot topic.  Especially for the black community and there's nothing wrong with that.  But what does make it wrong is when people get all in their personal feelings and get hurt by being too involved in keeping her as a deity in their world, which is delusional, because no one has to know Beyonce personally to Know damn well, this woman isn't perfect or lives the perfect life.  That is a fake image, if ever there was one.  If people would only understand that there's nothing wrong with highlighting the good, the bad and the ugly concerning this woman's life because it brings about much needed conversations.  I feel these conversations are the kind that shape people and help them better understand some of the challenges we all face.  Some say it's jealousy, but is it really when you actually take a look at most of the questions people have about her?  It's not jealousy if someone wants to know why she insists on wearing blond wigs, or why is she stealing, or why such a talent is damn near naked?  Why is she inflating her achievements or lying so much?  It's all just conversations about someone deemed by so many as a Pop artist, a great talent, a good woman, a Christian, Christ-like (Beysus), a role model, an idol, a goddess, a King, a Queen, a proud black woman, etc, etc, etc,...
