Are they selling the NYC spot or nah? I keep hearing its highly plausible since Blu Blu is starting Kindergarten in Cali. I've heard numerous times they rarely ever stay there to begin with. Tea/thoughts?

She would've been the perfect person to ask, but she moved out of that building... I wouldn't be surprised if they were subletting to staff or something ultra lowkey bc they definitely only use the place for photo ops it seems...and when are they going to change those damned curtains?? He still owns it, did a little search and the LLC he used to buy it back in 04 still owns the property as we speak. Still doesn't explain why we rarely see them there....I'd imagine it financially draining to be renting a home for 6 figures per month on top of paying taxes and common charges for that nyc spot.

I think they sold the LLC with the house, to hide the fact that they sold the house. it was basically a shelf company anyway. It's harder to track that kind of sale than it is to track real estate.

Ah that makes perfect sense! I had no idea you could do that, I know things with LLCs can be very complex. Do you think they sold it to their record label to satisfy a bit of their debts bc bey was recently snapping pics in that place last month. Maybe they are allowed to stay there when in town but the label or whoever owns the LLC and property? Very interesting though, thanks for the insight. |

What @doubt it said it very very likely, you can sell your LLC and its assets and it go completely under the radar bc the LLC stays the same. They could very well be using it for show when they are in the city and it be owned by one of their handlers. Those type of sales are very low-key and not public record so I believe it.

I figured something serious must be going on with them because the media hasn't been bombarding or harassing us with any news/updates about them, pictures of them, or the constant flow of lies they force the media to report. Other than this so-called news about reuniting with Kanye (which I call BS), they have been almost too quiet to believe they are just lying low and taking it easy for awhile. There's a saying... No news is good news, but I don't think that saying applies to them.
If these two had to downgrade due to finances...then I see nothing wrong with that. Hey, shit happens. Some lose their jobs and some are much too materialistic for their own good. But whatever the reason for having to downgrade, I'm sure many people would still consider them to be blessed. I guess we'll just have to see how they handle things, especially after seeing how they put so much effort to put up "wealthy like Bill Gates" front.

What annoys me the most with them is the fact that they tried so hard to appear to be sooooo wealthy instead of just being humble about it. Nothing wrong with downsizing at all, but these two fools have too much hubris to ever just admit it. |

How is this up for discussion? I have never heard of them putting their home on the market. When a celebrity - normal people too ---sells a home it becomes public record and makes the news. Tina sold her apartment a few years ago before moving to LA and it was in the news. Alicia Keys sold her apartment too. As far as I am concern, they still live there and currently renting a house in LA. Jay-Z is always in NY alone --- surely he has many side pieces visiting him there.

If Yaki is pregnant with two babies ------ it is not far fetched for her to stomach to show like it is within two months. Something tells me she is in deep (financially) with Jay the same way he is with LiveNation. It's the white collar pimp game. My theory is the power players in H'wood and/or executives at LiveNation are renting homes for them in exchange for the various tap dance routines they perform. Nothing is adding up or making any sense. If I did want to believe they are renting this expensive place for the sake of "bonding" with Blue Ivy and their new babies...then why rent out such a huge spacious palace, when the sensible thing to do would be to live in a smaller space...hence "bonding"..right?
