I dug up this little jewel, jayz did not invest $65 million of his own money into tidal, that's a fact coming from a chief executive in this video www.wsj.com/video/exec-jay-z...dal/B523A964-A97E-4509-9249-577C9BCCADEB.htmlArticle Snippet: Tidal chief investment officer Vania Schlogel explains to the WSJ’s Lee Hawkins that, contrary to public perception, Tidal is not owned only by Jay-Z, but by a consortium of more than a dozen major artists. When Forbes amassed their billion dollar status, it included the worth of all ventures, including tidal. Here's a Forbes article snippet that shows how they got their billion (insert laugh here) Article snippet: The Knowles-Carters both hold significant equity in Tidal, the streaming service Jay Z purchased for $56 million two years ago. The value of their stakes soared when Sprint invested a reported $200 million for a 33% of the company–valuing Tidal at $600 million and helping launch Beyoncé and Jay Z into ten-figure territory. Per FORBES’ list of America’s Wealthiest Self-Made Women–released today–Beyoncé, 35, has amassed a personal fortune of $350 million. The total for Jay Z, 47, has soared to $810 million per last week’s ranking of hip-hop’s richest acts (he trails No. www.forbes.com/sites/zackomalleygreenburg/2017/05/17/beyonce-and-jay-z-are-officially-a-billion-dollar-couple/So there u have it folks, only Forbes is reporting they're billionaires. Beyonce supposedly has 350 million and old man has 810 million. Yea right! They're living in a live nation owned house they claim they bought and they're not clearing up the rumors, billions where! Most of that billion is attributed to tidal and that exec in the video cleared that up real quick! That pawn is only the face of tidal! Apparently they thought this bum could really sell water to a well. They're going to have him offed for insurance money once that 4:44 flop tour starts. Trust me. I'll see y'all back on this post when it happens! See u soon! Toodles!

Water to a whale. Sorry, it's 3:41 am and I'm up scouring the web for proof, and I always come with receipts. Anyway I paid my $6 to get a copy of the property owners of their house, it's public record after all. I can't wait to see the owners of the blind trust because we already know the house is owned by some bum azz LLC, watch... u can't trace LLC too much but u can definitely see who's in a blind trust. By the way a blind trust is on that house. It's basically saying any interest or financial gain or losses is not going to be knowledge of those that are in the house so boom.... live nation will get any interest on that house!

Do report your findings to us and thanks for your work! I personally remember that for a while, everytime I googled "beyonce networth" the number had jumped up significantly!! It was 200 mil one day, a little while later-not years or months mind you- it would be 300 and now it's 350... I think her fake networth number may be competing with lady gaga because their net worthes are always close! And lady gaga started ten years after beyonce lmao

This makes me wonder if the same situation is with the NYC property they allegedly "own". They haven't been in NYC in awhile and I see no point in having property of that calibur if you don't actually utilize it...at least rent it out if nothing else. I'm starting to think that's owned by the labels as well. More info on this would be appreciated.

I'm almost certain it was owned by def jam and jayz lived in it. He's a failure at everything he does. It was 125 Hudson st I think if u google that a lot will come up regarding that 2 year deal.

Yeah it's 195 Hudson. It's still listed under they Brooklyn llc he used to "buy" it. I just always thought it funny how you never saw inside the home of such a braggadocious person. C'mon jay, show us the Basquiats and other high priced art you claim to have in that penthouse.

Good, informative thread. I keep reading and waiting for Bouncy's publicist to pop up in here refuting facts like she did before when the tea became too hot. Weren't the GQ photos supposedly taken inside their NY spot? IIRC, It was a rather sparsely furnished, barely lived in looking place.

The funniest thing about this photo is she took the time to airbrush her thighs but didn't bother photoshopping out the clutter and trash. Anyway, the staging in that living room reminds me of a large, corporate apartment.

Anyway, the staging in that living room reminds me of a large, corporate apartment. It doesn't look like they actually own it, it's too sterile looking. Not to mention those curtains have been the same since they've been there...you might be on to something

"Two years ago, Jay-Z had come close to signing a deal on the apartment for $6.5 million, before tenants of the Hudson Street development...reportedly derailed the sale, fearing Jay-Z would bring his celebrity lifestyle to the placid halls of their exclusive downtown address. The Arnells filed a lawsuit in May 2002 against two tenants they claimed interfered in the sale by posting notes in the lobby warning tenants of Jay-Z’s “criminal record and … lifestyle of knives, guns and violence.” The Arnells alleged that the tenants posted other messages in the lobby: “We are of the opinion that due to [Jay-Z’s] lifestyle of violence, if he moves into our building, he will place us in danger,” another note allegedly read." Lmao

Did u see this part, why would you need a 2 year deal on a mortgage. What was the 2 year deal? Wish I knew, the label probably bought it and let him live in it for 2 years. The two-year-long deal concluded on Sept. 29, when Jay-Z closed on the seventh-floor penthouse in a converted 1929 brick warehouse building on Hudson Street, between Desbrosses and Vestry streets, for $6.85 million, city transfer records show.

From RWS: Anonymous said... VIA BLIND GOSSIP
This celebrity couple behaves in an odd way when it comes to money.
They pretend to be secretive or modest about what they earn or buy or give… but then release hugely inflated numbers to the public through the back door!
One example:
They have been looking for a house for YEARS. They always have their people or the agents inflate the value of the house to the public (They’re looking at a $100 million house!), but then actually only offer half that. Then ninety nine percent of the time they walk away making excuses. They just want people to remember and associate them with the inflated amount.
Another example:
They have given a small amount of money (compared to their annual income) to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey, but had their team spread the rumor that they were giving [an astronomical amount of money]. It’s a lie, but people will remember the lie amount and think that they are so generous.
So they personally play coy about money, but have others spread the exaggerated amounts so you will think that they are wealthier or more generous than they actually are!

I dug up the transaction documents, the apartment was purchased as raw space from Sarah Arnell, ex wife of Ad-executive Peter Arnell. What sticks out to me is the fact he needed her assistance with the mortgage bc he lacked the credit. ALSO looking at the ACRIS docs on Streeteasy I see a mortgage was taken out via Goldman Sachs in august of this year.... something's very fishy here a836-acris.nyc.gov/DS/DocumentSearch/DocumentImageView?doc_id=2017081700804001

Everything certainly looks suspicious. I'm not understanding how two people who've been (Internationally known) "wealthy entertainers" for as many years as they've been, actually needing any assistance or even references from anyone. Especially with having recent news reports saying they have now become "Billionaires". Certainly rubbing elbows with the Obama's...calling Ms. O, "Michelle" and having this ex president on speed dial, should and would make life and all that important paperwork extremely simple. Hey...IJS, is all.

If there's a mortgage on the apartment now, maybe arnell quietly sold it and evicted him. Gotta google their names together

I figured out how this leech jayz is connected to the arnell family. He did the advertising guru a favor by plugging one of his items so they decided to get him a cozy little apartment in manahattan aftef 9/11 when they no longer desired to live in manhattan because of the risks.
"Advertising guru Arnell is no stranger to Jay-Z. He was credited with engineering the plug for Motorola two-way pagers in the lyrics of the rapper's 2000 hit "I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me)."
So the residents didn't want the leech jayz living there because it's a co-op and what they say, GOES. They're shareholders of the property. Anyway he didn't ever own it. Arnell still own it during his stay there. Ha!

If people would stop idol worshipping and ask themselves WHEN you would have part of answer
FURTHER if people would stop idol worshipping and accept that Jay and bey are and will always be WORKERS
The industry is not designed to make their workers rich, their bosses are billionaires, the people whose house they stay at are billionaires, these two uneducated fame whoring want to be worshipped clowns are the PERFECT pawns
As they don't want shit but to APPEAR better than you

Ahhh and the mortgage for $20M was taken out to purchase the LA home I'm suspecting. I also looked at the current doc vs the one from 04 and I notice this time around J didn't sign, he had one of his lawyers sign off on it...
Well done guys, we are decoding the bullshit!

There definitely was a purchase as transaction documents don't lie it's just interesting he has to take out a second mortgage to pay for another home. I foresee him going into some type of foreclosure, someone will snag that apartment for a steal in about a year or two.
